THE LITTLE LADLES

"The Little Ladles" is an organization that aims to fight childhood obesity by teaching cooking classes to families and children on how to cook healthy yet affordable meals.

​

I have a passion for sharing my knowledge of food, especially with children.

​

In 2005, I volunteered for a juvenile preventative and restorative justice program for Minnesota youth. During this time, was the birth of the Little Ladles. I discovered that children love to be in the kitchen and are eager to cook and learn about food. I was providing them with lifelong skills to aid their overall physical health that they could pass on to the next generation.
